YES!
Lakshmi first cried at 10:31 AM, december 3rd.... and i missed it! still, the first glimpse of her in the baby warmer is stuck onto my retina! the pleasure that coursed through me when i first held her, and even now whenever i hold her, is just wow!!!!!
Her cry, the way she opens her eyes slowly upon waking up, the way she kicks away the sheets when bawling, man they're all sights to behold!
All of 3.6 kilos at birth, she's quite fast..... she's already trying to flip; and yes, i did receive my first kick from her today! i got my blessings from heaven, thank you God!
i had envisioned nights full of sleep once the delivery was done... alas! that's not to be....
even the faintest sound of her cry wakes me up! i think i'm going through paranoia! i keep running downstairs, only to see that she's actually quite peacefully alseep! hehe!
she's already getting me to run around! God forbid when she grows up!
All in all, i'm singing off.... eeps signing off, a happy and blessed dad!
